Why Motriz exists
Product work is usually split across research notes, analytics, planning documents, chat histories, tickets, prompts, and repositories. Each tool sees a fragment. The reasoning that connected one decision to the next gets reconstructed from memory—or disappears.
Motriz keeps that reasoning in the workspace. Evidence can challenge a direction. A decision can shape the scope. The approved scope can become reviewable work in the repository. What happens after launch can change the next decision instead of starting another disconnected cycle.
What the product is—and is not
Motriz is for product builders who carry both product judgment and execution. It can begin with an idea, a stalled side project, an existing repository, an MVP, or a live product. It is not a promise that every idea should be built, and it is not a coding tool pretending the product decision already happened.
The standard is an honest next move: build, strengthen the evidence, reshape the direction, or stop. When the answer is build, the same context follows the work.
